If at first (or second, or third) you don’t succeed, try, try again - until you get it right!

When I had the idea to make cookie cake, cut it into slices and dip them in chocolate to make them look like carrots, I thought my first attempt was going to come out exactly like I envisioned it in my head. It did not. Neither did the second.

But, I didn’t give up!

I kept refining and trying and troubleshooting until they came out exactly how I wanted them to.

You’re going to have baking fails, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea. No matter what project or hobby or skill you’re tackling - Never. Give. Up. The first time you try something, will most likely be a fail, but each time you try again, it will get better. I promise!

I don’t always have the time to make cakes, but when special little people have birthdays, I find it. 🩷 Seeing her happy little face looking at the Elsa & Anna toys I added to the top makes every minute in the kitchen, all the flour flying and coloring stained fingers worthwhile. 👩🏻‍🍳☺️

There’s something magical about watching a child’s eyes light up when they see their favorite characters come to life on a birhtday cake. 🤩 These moments remind me why we celebrate birthdays in the first place - not just to mark another year, but to make someone feel truly special and loved - especially for kids.
